Jennifer Moore lives with one husband and four sons who produce heaps of laundry and laughter. She earned a BA from the University of Utah in Linguistics, which she uses mostly for Jeopardy. A reader of history and romance, she loves traveling, tall ships, scented candles, and watching cake decorating videos. When she’s not driving carpool, writing, or helping with homework, she’ll usually be found playing tennis.

My Thoughts on Healing Hazel
This book Healing Hazel can definitely be read as a standalone; however, I enjoyed the friendship circle so much that I am most assuredly going to go back and read the first two books in the Blue Orchid Society series.
This book was fascinating. I love all things historical and Jennifer Moore did a fabulous job intertwining historical fact and fiction. I LOVED learning about the Carlist Wars, I vaguely remember studying them in school but this book made me definitely want to go back and restudy it.
The slow burn (clean) romance was also very very well done with lots of cute heart tugging moments interwoven in this beautiful story.
I think readers who enjoy Sarah Sundin will love Jennifer Moore’s style of storytelling.
