My Thoughts on Max by Izzy James

I think I am a sucker for a good time travel romance, add in a dash of humor and I’m sold.

This was my first time reading a book by Izzy James (Elizabeth Chevalier Hull) and I really enjoyed being thrust into this short whimsical tale!

The banter between Max and Olivia was sweet and sassy.

Reading about Max’s adjustments to the time he found himself in were interesting and thought provoking (I mean how would you handle being through hundreds of years in the future?)

The only negative I had with it was the length. I totally felt like it could have easily been a full length novel as the characters were primed for it.

4 Stars.

*I volunteered to read this book in return for my honest feedback.

  1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Max, this sounds like a great story and I am looking forward to reading it although, like you, I prefer full length novels
