This probably comes at no surprise to you but… I loved Toni Shiloh’s latest book The Nature of Love; she consistently gets better and better with her character development and story settings.

The Nature of Love – A Book Review
The Nature of Love by Toni Shiloh was like going on a hike in nature—it had all the ups and downs you could ever want, along with twists and turns you didn’t see coming. And like all good hikes, it left you with a sense of contentment and unexplainable delight by the end.
Toni Shiloh gave us two uniquely wonderful people, not unlike most of us, who are searching for meaning, love, and happiness where we are planted. However, much to Dr. Erykah’s dismay, love has not been easy or her focus in life. She was a layered character who was deeply searching for light and who wasn’t afraid to ask the hard questions. I appreciated her sense of self and her dedication in troubled times—something I wish we saw more of in stories.
Now, Chris was a very patient man. He was unexpected and ended up wonderfully balancing Dr. Erykah, even though I wasn’t sure how Toni Shiloh was going to mesh them together at the start. Another element of Chris’s character I liked was his deep faith and the caring ways he chose to show it. Toni Shiloh did a great job displaying this without being preachy.
As this is book three in a series, there were previous characters cameos from other books in the series, which I found fun; it was like getting caught up with old friends. Though I am sad to see this series come to a close, I am looking forward to what else Toni Shiloh has in store.
