My Thoughts

This was a sweet story!

I enjoyed this clean, girl next door, high school sweethearts type story. It is my first time reading a book by Delaney Cameron, and I liked her writing style 😊. It is the third book in her Billionaires of Sawgrass series, but I had no trouble understanding the storyline; so, it can be read as a standalone.

Both Jaclyn and Brooks were well laid out characters, and their thought processes were realistic and appropriately fit the situation. I liked Jaclyn’s loyalty and her heart for helping others. She sounds a lot like someone I know. Brooks, I think was a bit more complex, he resembles the strong silent/shy type personality, yet get him around Jaclyn and he becomes a social butterfly. I enjoyed their interactions together, and their characters in general, they were very relatable.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the cute storyline, girl next door style, and the great environmental descriptions.
